Brad and Jessie Billings
Brad, founder of Covel Contracting, with son Jessie, who proudly carries on his father’s legacy as owner of the company. Brad’s favorite project to date is the Atlanta Braves Stadium. He would tell any new team members ‘Assumption is the enemy of accuracy - ALWAYS ask questions’. Since stepping away from day to day operations and full time work, Brad enjoys spending his free time traveling to NASCAR tracks for races, camping, and spending time with his 4 grandchildren.
Jessie Billings - Owner
Originally from Cookson, OK outside of Tahlequah, Jessie started working with his dad in 2015 before taking over in 2022. The Geodis Park in Nashville, TN has been one of his favorite projects to work on. When not traveling for work, he loves to spend time with his wife Casey and their 3 kids, going to sporting events, camping and cooking/grilling.
John Foster - Field Operations Superintendent
A Tahlequah, OK native and Army Veteran, ‘Foster’ has been a valued member of Covel Contracting for more than 3 years. His favorite project so far has been the Ford Ampitheater in Colorado Springs, CO. His best advice for new crew members is ‘to be a sponge and retain all the knowledge you can’. When he is not at work, he loves spending time with his family and taking his 3 children fishing. A fun fact about him - he is a talented guitar player.
Gavin Jackson - Project Superintendent
Originally from Checotah, OK, he has brought value to the team for almost 2 years. His favorite project to date is it Veteran’s Memorial Arena in Portland OR. His advice to new members is simple “Stay thinking about your future”. When not on the road for work, he enjoys hitting the highway on a motorcycle. Gavin’s hidden talent is the ability to do impersonations.
Jesús Palomo - Installation Lead
From Bishop TX, just outside Corpus Christi, Jesus has been a part of the Covel Contracting team since Feb of 2025. His favorite project so far has been the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp in Florida. His advice to new team members is ‘dedication pays off’. Outside of work he enjoys studying and researching philosophy, as well as reading and writing poetry.
Jeff Mooren - Senior Installer
As a Marine Veteran, Jeff’s hometown is Sallisaw, OK, and has been with Covel Contracting since July 2025. To date, his favorite project has been the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC. His advice for someone new joining the team is ‘don’t be afraid to ask questions, ask lots of them’. He enjoys spending time with family along with shooting firearms outside of work. Something some wouldn’t know about him is that he has a talent for two-step swing dancing.
